We encourage your involvement in your loved ones recovery. Upon arrival, each guest at The Plymouth House is assigned a contact person who is responsible for his/her needs for the duration of the stay. Please feel free to address any questions or concerns you may have to this staff member.
Visitation is on Saturdays from 1pm-5pm.
Plymouth House guests must fill out a visitation request slip for each
person they wish to visit by Thursday evening for Saturday visitation.
All visitors must be approved before Saturday.
We ask that visitors be limited to family members and those instrumental to our guests recovery.
All visitors must sign in at the main office upon arrival and at departure.
Visitors may bring dogs but they must be leashed and well-mannered.
Any items visitors bring to guests must first be inspected and approved by staff.
Visitors are not allowed in the guest rooms or lounges.
Medical and dental emergencies will be promptly addressed.
Our conduct policies ensure the safety and well-being of our guests. Conduct violations will result in discharge from the program.
Incoming mail will be opened in front of and inspected by a staff member.
We conduct store runs three times a week to purchase appropriate items; we also have an ATM run once a week for the purpose of acquiring spending money.
Most guests require more time than the initial two week stay. If guests wish to extend their stay, they must inform their contact person at least three days before their tentative discharge date. At that time, staff will conduct a review to determine whether an extension is in the guests best interest and that behavior and effort warrant the privilege of an extension.
